It was a beautiful misty muggy dewey sunrise here in SW Indiana this morning. Great lighting and loads of fun!

Both images were shot with the Lumix/Leica 25mm Summilux f1.4 on a Lumix G5 body - manual focus (and everything else) on a tripod. They are both significantly cropped and thus are a bit grainy.

The first one isn't really all I hoped it would be, but I still like it enough that I will put it up on my website.

I'm having a brain fart. When I click on galleries on my home page, you can see my customization gallery and such. I don't want visitors to see that!

I went for a hike yesterday at Pawnee Buttes hoping for some thunder head photography. I wasn't lucky enough for that though as there was overcast and black skies surrounding the area on 3 sides. The weather made an already strange place even more strange looking with weird lighting.

Made for some interesting photos though.

All I did was follow some instructions to add a gallery (merchandise). Now I've lost my slideshow and I can't find that bar where I can change all my settings. :(((

Hello,
I thought I had read somewhere in the forum that it is possible to rename the site in a way that it does not have "smugmug" in it, but I can't find that anymore.
My sitename is mfkkoeln.smug.com Can I change that to manfred.kirchhoff.com (that name seems to be free) ? If yes can that be done in a way that people you use the current sitename are still directed to my site ?

On my Portfolio page I just realized the gallery category rows are spread further apart than I seem to recall when I first added some code. I assume must have added something in the past that changed this.

Shot of the week for myself when I found this cannibalistic fly having lunch on the laurel bush leaf in the garden. Overall size was maybe ½inch so was a large crop for composition purposes. Taken on the 5D Mk2 with my 100mm macro and all three extension tubes, flash used.

Was surprised when I looked the viewfinder lining up this one, cos at first I thought it was 2 flies having some early rumpy-pumpy!
