DSS #57 (Milk)

Thank you everyone for your patience. I think the public guest judge experiment went over really well, 10th place ended up in a tie so there was 11 choices in the public part of the vote

You and our main judge WhatSheSaw agreed on six images, giving us 15 finalists to choose from.

    What a great set of photos and it is always SO awesome to be included in the vote! Thanks everyone. I'm stumped for next round's theme so this might be my only shot to make it into the mega. Why can't the 72 hours pass faster?! Great work to all. I love the variety in these 15 photos!!

    I never in my life would have thought there'd be so many diverse ways to interpret this theme! Good job to everyone who participated! There are a number of very strong entrants in this final round and it will be good fun to see who wins..

    Great work everyone! I had a few ideas kicking around for this one, but didn't have the chance to try any of them... the first week of school kind of rearranged my priorities a little... (my wife teaches, my oldest son started middle school, and our twins started 2nd grade[in separate classes for the first time]) so there's been some adjusting for all of us... Again though, the gallery is oozing with creativity, and congratulations to those in the voting round!

    I don't know who to vote for cuz all the ones I can remember I voted for are in the finals... (except my photo) doesn't anyone like chocolate these days?? How much more 'chocolate' can a person get than a chocolate sunday with whipped cream and hot fudge? Laughing.gif

    Didn't realize it was almost over... I voted for the first choice that came to mind when I saw the entries. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to make up my mind because at least 4 of them were tied for first place! mwink.gif

    What a wonderful surprise! THANK YOU! My heart dropped to the floor when I saw the post title. My personal goal for this round was to qualify for the mega, and I won!?! (speechless). A big heartfelt thanks to all that voted for my photo. And another big thanks to everyone on this site for making me work harder and push myself to take better photos. What an inspiration you all are to me. This was a fun challenge and I enjoyed all of the incredible creativity this round. Greg, Tinamarie, Kris and Dnie GREAT work and congratulations to you guys!! I'm flattered my photo was selected among these amazing entries. Thanks again!

    Thanks to everyone who liked Milk and cookies. I spent a lot of time on this one....finally beginning to learn how to light glass objects. Getting some good glass shots is reward enough!
