Inspired by the thread below, I went out today and shot a boarder at the local public skatepark. I'd love to hear your thoughts:

    Great question! Actually, I do like how this crop really puts the focus on the skater. So yes, and thanks for the eyes.

    The 2nd crop is much better IMO. Could also do with some increased contrast and/or increased black point. I would try a version with a HDR/grunge sort of look. You have some awesome clouds that could you a lot more drama...

    Probably about 40 minutes from you on the south shore. Manorhaven Park in Port Washington NY Exit 36 off the L.I.E. North about 5 miles or so. Let me know if you're interested in shooting here some time, I could try and get some guys from the local skate shop to ride for us.
