HALLOWEEN free photos !

I decided it would be fun and smart to offer free photos on Halloween. I set up a lastolite 5 x 7 background a new umbrella to bounce light with my sb 800, my tripod and camera, and lot's of signs. My husband handed out my business cards and explained how to find the gallery and how to right click to download them.
I had a huge street light to contend with. My original thought was to try to make these good decent normal shots. But once I began the hard shadows were not to be easily dealt with, but I kinda liked them and used them to really play with the images afterwards and it was a lot of fun !!! I can't wait to do it again next year!
It took me 24 hours to edit and post, people were told to check in afternoon following day. At the end I got tired and didn't finish edited the background, shame on me.
Since Nov 1st, I have had 1,100 hits and during the event someone checked out the site and came back to ask about senior photos!

Here are a few of my favorites.....

Very cool idea! Some of the shadows bother me a bit maybe, but other's don't.
Did it give you any leads for new clients?

Great marketing idea! And fun photos. I'm going to be doing some free photo booth shots at the winter festival at my kids school. It's a chance to volunteer, and maybe get some business.
