What do you mean, username not present or not in the database? How could I log in if I am not registered in the Dgrin database? Was I supposed to upload my picture to my SmugMug gallery?

It is a beautiful capture, Slipadaro The lighting is very moody and well balanced. Is it an HDR ?

Yes, 3 exposures and I tried not to overdo the HDR effect. The picture was taken late in the afternoon and the light was starting to drift toward sunset, so one exposure wasn't going to cut it.

WOW! I am very surprised! There are so many talented photographers here it is really an honor to be recognized for something I did! The funny thing about this shot is it was the last shot (well I took 6 shots of it) I took after spending the day shooting concrete all over the city. I just noticed the reflection walking by and thought it would be a neat shot. Turned out to be the one I liked most.

Never dreamed it would win this! Thank you so much!

This site and all the great photos I see every day really inspire me to improve and learn.

Congrats to Chandlerja! Isn't it funny how often the best shot is the very first or last of a set? And congrats to the other winners and participants for making the challenge a success; I don't know about you all, but I thought this was much trickier than usual....made me think about the ordinary and every day concrete in a whole new light.

Thank you Leah! And I agree 100%! No matter where I went the last two weeks I was eying concrete! It really is a remarkable substance used for so many things! I loved the challenge!
