Congrats dlscott56!! Yours was definitely at the top of my list of favorites.

This was a creative round. I enjoyed watching it from the sidelines.

I was tongue-tied when it came to commenting on it, but very much liked it.

Wow, congratulations to dlscott56

.... great picture with wonderful lighting, and my wife's most favorite picture in this round

This was the first time that my wife (Memol) and I submitted photos for the Dgrin challenges, and it is certainly very exciting and very encouraging for both of us to have received your votes in the presence of all of these great pictures, and I really appreciate that (the one small discouraging part though is my wife getting a few more votes than me

but I guess I will have to live with that

).

Thanks again for all your votes, and looking forward to participating in more challenges in future, and along the way, improving our skills, and having more fun...

Thanks to all who voted for my photo and congratulations to everyone else. It was a lot of fun to shoot and finally found a use for that interesting roll of paper I picked up at a garage sale. In case anyone's interested, it was shot on a continuous roll of paper with a small soft box high and behind to hit the bottles but not the background. Second strobe gridded and set to skim the background. Third gridded strobe directly at the bottles from camera right to pick up some additional specular highlights in the glass. Basic color/contrast/cropping adjustments in Lightroom.
