    With so many great shots in this gallery, I wanted to click on all of the them to get a closer look. It seems that the link to photo-bug's image is broken - I got an error message when I clicked on it. Hope this is helpful!

    Thanks, Gretchen! You really gave me a lot of good advice in this round.

    You're going to have to spend some more time with that door. I liked the color versions as well, but didn't think they worked as well for this theme. That stone work is gorgeous, but doesn't show a lot of wear.

    Yes, the door was weathered, the light switch rusted out, and the stairs threatened by termites but the stone work will last forever! I look forward to revisiting the door at some point. I appreciated your input and that of others. :D

    Thanks, Cambyses! It is in the Seattle area, in the middle of the Snoqualmie valley on the Woodinville-Duvall Road, right next to a sign that says, "Welcome to Duvall". You can actually see it on Google Maps street level view.

    It is in sorry shape, ready to collapse, which makes it a very interesting photographic subject. I have shot it a few times under varying conditions - once in the morning dew with spider webs all over it.

    Edit: I rechecked the sign. It really says Duvall 1913.
