Two. The cat is accurately depicted as being white. In B/W, the cat could be white, gray, champagne, etc.,etc. I also like the bit of red in the railing.

Black and white adds nothing, but doesn't detract. I see the benefit of
black and white in "street" photos, but this is not in that category. I prefer the color version, but it's not a strong "prefer". |

I'm torn. I like both of them. I would prefer if the BW had a bit more contrast though.

The color version is nearly monochrome but with nice subtle color, except for the handrail which for some may be an added distracton but for me is a nice complement to the photo. Color can often be a distraction to the central elements of a photo unless well balanced, or unless the photo itself is about the color. Often, photos work best when there are simple elements and a certain isolation for those key elements. In this case, the photo is graphically simple and the subtle color actually enhances the central character's visual prominence with subtle shades of pink additionally working in concert with the subtle shades of red in the brick and the handrail. While the black and white version is quite nice, the color version is superior.
All of that said, the photo itself is a bit too cute for its own good. And I hate cats. |

First of all, it's a really fine shot.
This is a tough call. As seastack said, the color is subtle, but it's harmonious. I'm not sure of this, but I have the feeling that the color version would work better printed large while B&W would be a better choice for a small print.

It is a tough call and a really nice capture. Both are pretty pallid. As such, I like two.

Initially, my brain supplied the brick color in #1 so it took me twice to see the difference. But I like two better. Probably because I like color photos with unsaturated color the best.

Number 1. Only because the red railing keeps pulling my eyes to it even tho I'm looking at the cat. Then I don't even see the word 'out' or venture to look at it. To me the BW version blends all elements in the photo so nicely.

The cat is rendered a bit better in the color, but I like the b/w IF you bumped the blacks up a little to deepen the contrast.
Maybe selective coloring of the cat?
