I want to hide all Captions on my website. Do I have to do this gallery by gallery or is there an easier way?

This CSS should hide them:

.caption { display: none !important; }

You might want to reconsider this though; search engines do not look kindly on hidden text on pages. From the help page for Google Webmaster tools at http://support.google.com/webmasters...n&answer=66353:

Hiding text or links in your content can cause your site to be perceived as untrustworthy since it presents information to search engines differently than to visitors.

Thanks for the insight Denise. My main objection to captions is that they are overlaid on my images and either distract or totally obscure important elements. Are there any options for displaying captions but not having them overlaid on the images?

That's the default full screen slideshow and looks like you're stuck with it. It's only the captions that
have many lines. And it's Flash which is not customizable.
