Thanks for the comment Mary..... these guys are volunteers at a railroad museum, so they are no strangers to dirt and rust!

Cool shot... sweet composition and such. That rusty ol bucket truck goes on and on for its age and so do those guys interested in making that happen. Agreed, those pants are telling a story too. Railroad guys huh. And volunteers at that. Nice.
Looks like your dreams are proving out in your processing flavors for the piece and others on the way I'm sure. Cool beans. Looking forward to the chance of seeing those too

The Pacific Southwest Railway Museum is located in the back-country of San Diego and definitely has a bonanza of rust - the bonus is that next door is the Motor Transport Museum, acres of rusting vintage automobiles. I actually haven't been back there since I acquired the RJ syndrome - it's time to go me thinks. The only catch is that we have a dry rust out here - things get rained on (< 10 inches/year) and rust a bit, but dry out. I need to get down to the coast where the rust is "juicier" and forms all those nice colors like torags gets up in San Fran.

Juicier... That covers a lot of potential ground.... errr rust. I am sure you will find just what hits the spot. The spray bottle is a great idea. Sweet that Rags brought it up. I can see where that would really do what can't be done well any other way easily. Racking the sliders is one thing but the baseline shot has to have the right stuff to start with... at least for me. Hard to make something out of not much to start with.
