Alrighty then... I have a few ideas...(Haven't looked at the gallery too much, but after spending some time in Holy Macro, I am staying away from the bugs, for sure,)

Any and all comments are appreciated!

These are good. If you squint, number 3 looks like a map of Europe, UK top left, Scandinavia top right, Turkey bottom right. Ok it's just me....

I really like the first one. I guess I like knowing what I'm looking at. : )

I'm leaning toward #1 as well although I like the colors of the rust. I think #1 shows off the beauty of a macro shot better. If any opp for reshoot, I would make a subtle change in the point of focus more toward the tip or end of the screw and crop it so that there would be a little bit more space on the left. (It looks to me like the clearest point is currently on the bolt) Nice work overall. GP

Love all of them, but would go for #1 as my favorite. Nice work!

I love #1. The others are really great, too, but I like the scale of 1.

Don, I will do that some day soon...
I would love to get back to reshoot the first, to change the focus... IF I am able after work today, the light will be right...if not, it will stay as it is...

I still don't know WHICH I am choosing to enter, BTW...

Thanks all for your comments...

I really like both #3 and #4. But then, I am partial to abstracts.

The others are also sweet, as is your current entry.

WEll, I've entered... Thanks for all the thoughts I really do like the abstracts as well, but to me they probably aren't as much about macro....I was able to go down and reshoot on the fly, but it was about to pour...which was nice for the light, bad for the camera and as I was SUPPOSED to be elsewhere....
It's a local spot, I've used the area before for challenges and imagine I will again, I can't resist it!
