Thanks for the link. It's remarkable that he can get such smooth gradients using ball point pens.

There's a gallery in Madrid that specializes in photo-realist painting, often large cityscapes. I had to laugh when I noticed that one work even had a few blown highlights. In the meantime, many photographers aspire to "painterly" images. Strange world.

Hyperrealism
My oldest son, Ross, the artist/engineer/musician, told me that this form or art is called Hyperrealism. Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperre...visual_arts%29

Apparently been around 10 years or little more.
