Thanks, Joel! We are trying to be environmentally sustainable as much as we can. One of our cousins has acquired some llama who guard a heard of sheep who are in charge of keeping weeds away from the pepper plants, so I asked him if this was our new sustainable security guard. I think the bird may be a juvenile turkey vulture rather than a black vulture, though I'm not sure. We have lots of mature turkey vultures here, and the grey headed ones are always with them. Most of the turkey vultures work on the janitorial crew, keeping the place cleaned up. Hope you have had a great summer!
