Looks so much more dangeour on a bike and the mom in me wants to yell at the ones without helmets.

Keep visiting those courts!

This group plays every Tuesday and Sunday evening. I did a series
that's a gallery at my SmugMug site. Only one fall that evening.

The rainy basketball game was going on in the court next to this,
but the rain started after I'd shot the series on bike polo, but it
did stop me from getting more pix.

Thanks for the comments.

Accused Shill.
Well, that's one way to keep the horses from drowning.

Great Shot! That really captures the essence of the sport, too. Bike Polo, besides being fun to play, definitely gives a lot of good shots. The kids here in DC usually wear helmets though - it's popular to wear ice hockey helmets complete with visors.

I really need to go back and shoot again, last time I went was about three years ago and it started absolutely pouring on us!

reflection. cropped & flipped.

The helmet issue was a rather individual choice. There were bare-headed
riders, riders with soft caps, riders with bicycle helmets, riders with football helmets with
full face guards, and riders with hockey helmets.

I did go looking through your gallery - great shots, all of them. It's a challenging scene to shoot, but I really like the low perspective that you got. Be careful of stray hockey balls down there!

Thanks. I shot all sitting on the ground. Better perspective, less
ability to scramble away when bikes and balls came at me.
