Damn! You know, you're right! I didn't notice that until you mentioned it. Probably because he doesn't look that much like him 'in the flesh.'

The Alan Alda shots are fun and excellent. I'd love to hear the back story. But, #1 and #4 are magical.

Has Alan heard anything new while talking to himself? :D

Ok the one shot that I think is truly great, is #1. I've gotten away from photographing people from the back, but sometimes it just works, and this to me is one of those times. Killer converstion also.

I also enjoyed #4 with everyone doing their own thing--The legs sticking up behind the man smoking, cracked me up--so typical.

Thanks Liz and Jen - So Alan Alda. I have to say he was truly delightful. I was on a panel and doing a couple of workshops on science communications at a day-long thing at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, and he was the 'keynote speaker.' Say what you will about him, he's a terrific communicator, and the advice he was giving the audience of scientists was spot on. Oh, and in terms of the images of him, I was sitting in a seat in the front row, was working with a 40mm and a 100mm lens, and couldn't move from my seat.
