Help with Bird ID

I have no idea what kind of bird this is.... i'm really new to this whole bird thing.

It was perched up on top of the building at work Friday.

Everyone here is looking to me to ID it....

sheesh... having a camera must mean i'm a bird watcher too? psha

    Yup, Steven that is a bird. Might be an Osprey. As much as I shoot them I should know.

    Google Osprey, see what it looks like in the head.

    Or Harry will answer you, but better bump this to be sure..........

    ginger (It definitely is a bird) Tell them I said that, too, smile.
    It is also a raptor, or bird of prey.......

    Good get and good exposure.
    After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

    I agree with Ginger. Definitely a raptor and the head markings almost assure that it is an Osprey. Fairly common around beaches and salt marshes.
