Some captures while strolling in the streets of Toronto.

While seated on a bench I took a shot of this guy, he was saying something like 'Don't you point that camera at me!'

I followed these people about a block, while I waiting for the baby to look back at me.

Preparing dumplings. Yum!

#3 is cool. thumb.gif I think #2 wouldn't be as good if the baby were looking at you rather than its mother.

I like that there's enough of a human element in all three to let me connect to the subject or scene. I think #2 and #3 could benefit from an improved conversion. Really nice potential in those two.

    Both involve increasing the contrast.

For #2, I'd want to do something to reduce the brightness of the sky. Maybe crop a little off the top and left just leaving the tower in. I'd then play with reducing the overall exposure while lifting the shadows, then hit the contrast slider. But bringing attention to the kiddie's face is important.

#3 is grey. I think you need to decide what element you want to really draw attention to. There are many layers / reflections to choose from. I also just noticed that there's a "self portrait" of you on the lower right.

I recognize the last two as Chinatown. Just curious: where was the first one taken? Thx.

No wonder it seemed familiar! I used to live at Albany Ave (close by). Small world.
