Hello.

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, so feel free to move it.

Question is this: when I upload a video to a SmugMug gallery, can I use the SHARE THIS option to get a URL so that I can embed the video into my Wordpress blog?

My homepage is: http://scenesfromthepast.com and I would like to upload a video into one of my galleries here: http://photos.scenesfromthepast.com and embed it in a post on my homepage.

Thanks,
Scott

I don't have an answer for your question, but I think you'd be better served by hosting it on YouTube. SmugMug's MPEG1 is not really the best format for video. You can make YouTube videos private and the quality and compatibility will probably be better.

Thanks for the advice, man, but YouTube maxes out at 10 mins and this is just under 20 minutes. I'm lucky in that I have my own personal DVD wizard who is just about to turn pro. Anyway, he can get it as perfect as it can be even with the limitations of the format.

    thanks,
    Scott

You could just try it on a short video and see if it works.
