I like both of them although I think the size is a little strange (that is the dimensions). In the top one I would like to see the board which is hidden behind the wave.

With the bottom one, I looked to see if she had a suit on :)

nice work! #2 appeals to me better than 1. I wonder if a different crop on 1 will help the image better?

I also vote for #2. Not sure if it's what you're going for, but the water does seem a little unnaturally blue to me, so I'd warm it up just a touch. If that's what you're going for, though, feel free to ignore me :)

Water color not a problem for me, but I feel the crop should be horizontal to go with the waves and the horizon.

I prefer #2, partly because the figure is in a more dynamic position and partly because of the wave action you captured.

I've cropped the one, is this better?

I like the crop of #4...

#5 is interesting - I like the framing, but the colors are supersaturated, and it's a little much.

your new crop is a better composition than the original. You are on the right track.

Yes four is better and more interesting (to me) than five which is more ordinary.

I also like 4 best. I think you could have left just a little more of the ocean in the bottom of the frame when cropping, but this works well.
