I have a problem with my site not showing my slideshow in visitor view or not logged in view. Owner view shows exactly what I want. Any Ideas on this? Allen you out there anywhere?

Thanks

Hi Kevin - hmmm - I'm not a customizer type guy, and someone with more knowledge than I will probably chime in here shortly, but it looks like you already have a custom full screen slideshow set up in your advanced CSS - which now appears to be disabled somehow - and then you're running the built in homepage slideshow as well (which is showing logged in) -

I'd bet there is a conflict between the two - and possibly there is code hiding the built-in slideshow in favor of the super full screen -

Does you site look the way you want it to when you are using a browser where you are not logged in?

It's really a better check to use a not logged in browser rather than visitor view. I usually use Firefox logged in and Chrome or IE logged out.

You have two copies of the 4-across hack in your CSS, and the second copy has text following it that is not CSS. That will cause problems. Remove the second copy.

You also have some incorrect CSS. Remove the red:
Code:
#feeds {
 display:none;
 }
#mysearch {
 text-align: center;
 }

}

A good rule of thumb, before editing your code, is to email a copy of the current code to yourself - a 'back-up' - if things go south, you just copy/paste the previous code back in!

(There's a button for this at the bootom of the customizing page )

Sooooo true - side by side browsers, one logged in, the other logged out = instant feedback on changes.

If you use a text editor like Notepad or Notepad++ you can copy the code and paste it back into the sections of the advanced customization page.

Do not use a word processor; that will give you extra stuff that will break your customization and will then need to be cleaned up.

Im still having some issues with the not logged in view. Its fine logged in or was. No slide show showing on my home page. I still have trouble understanding EZC and the Advanced. Should I dissable or clear all the EZC and just use advanced? I still have some EZC working.

I can see the slideshow on your homepage as a visitor just fine in my Firefox on my Mac:

What browser, operating system do you use? Do you have any addons / extensions installed in your browser?

Maybe your Flash is outdated and needs an update? You can get Flash here.
