Wonderful shot, Tim. Glad to have you join our forum.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Welcome to the forums Tim. Nice shot of Glen Etive. Love your SmugMug site. Your shots of the Guildhouse Pets are outstanding, as are the Scottish Highland cattle and the Applecross Seals (Selkies!)

Hi, beautiful lighting and composition. Just out of interest - what is the name of the peak on the right?

    Cheers, Richard.

Thanks to everyone for the welcome.

On the right is the south western tip of the Buachaille Etive Mor, the peak is Stob na Broige at 956m. You're looking north west up part of Glen Etive. The middle peak is Stob Dubh, this is the shot from behind the peak (near the top of Stob Coire Raineach) looking back.Pan_8102-5_crop-2_sRGB_sm-L.jpg

Hi Tim, thank you for the additional information. I have been to that area (in my youth, 1983) and have done a winter ascent of Crowberry Ridge on Stob Dearg. Look forward to more of your scottish landscapes. Cheers, Richard.
