It's been 9 months since B.D. found me lost in "people" trying to post a short series. This is the first time the lightbulb went off to, "capture a moment".
This was the shot that started it all for me.

this was my first post in PJ--and what really got the ball rolling for me.

I finally put all of them in one gallery (most of them anyway) and I am pretty proud of the outcome.

Thanks PJ/Street/Documentary/Candid forum dgrinners:D

    As well you should be.
A great gallery to visit even if I'm not related and truly treasures for those who are.

I'll go check it out a few more times when time permits and see if I can nit pick a little rolleyes1.gif

    THANKS BENJAMIN!iloveyou.gif

For taking the time to comment. I know it takes a bit to go through them.

I will beat you to the punch on the nit picking---"establish a workflow" I can just hear Rutt now.

I'm sure you will find more:)

Great gallery - each shot tells a story. IMO each shot can stand alone or placed as a series as you have done.

I just enjoyed the slideshow. You've done a great job capturing these slices Liz. Oh to have your eye and talent!

    Thanks Ed,
For years I did posed shots of my family with scrapbook captions to describe the event. This is so much better, the photos tell their own stories. Thank you.

Recognizing many of these shots, I am still surprised at how well they join together into a slideshow or photoessay. Photos that do not stand alone as well really add to the group as a whole.

And I still especially love your shots of groups of kids having a great time together!

    Hi Liz,

That's a really impressive body of work. You, as well as anybody else, have blossomed dramatically as a photographer of note.

    Take care,

    Tom

    Thank you Rainbow.
I've sent them out to the family and it's a hitclap.gif.

The kid shots are some of my favorite too, though it's too easy to get them having a good time, so I've tried to also add a few serious shots. The one of them crossing a street holding a football comes to mind--it looks like such a typical urban shot to me. I'm learning still :)

    Thanks for commenting.

    Thank you Tom:D,
I was actually surprised once I put them all in one gallery by the volume! I didn't realize I had quite so many.

I appreciate your very very nice compliment.
