Lightroom History Steps

I'm running Lightroom 2.1.
Is there a way to delete history steps other than undo?

Also and if not, when I click on a step (in the History pane), is this the state the image will be at for printing, web and export if I do those actions then?

You don't need to delete them, if you click on a state, that is the state the image goes back to until you change your mind. And if you edit from there, that is the state Lightroom starts over from (which actually does get rid of anything newer than the selected).
    Creativity's hard.
