Fast little bird.

At lunch today I spotted these little birds out the door to a deck. They were cute and man were they fast. I wanted to snap a few shots of them but everytime I opened the door and started out they took off. So I decided it was time to try and hand hold the Bigma. I opened the door slow and layed on my belly and slowly inched my way out on the deck. I got close enough to shoot and gave it a go. Was only able to get two shots before the little bird flew away. Looked them up in my bird book and it seems the bird is a Slate-colored Junco. So here he/she is.

Nice captures. I like how the feathers cape the wings a bit.

    Thanks for sharing.
