Unsuspected upgrade

I recently upgraded from the 7D's kit lens (18-135 f/3.5) to a 17-55 f/2.8. Yep, the new lens turned the 7D into an entirely different camera, and I love it.

This got me wondering....what can the 7D kit lens upgrade? So, I put the EFS 18-135 kit unit on my little Rebel T3 to test it out. After a stroll around the back yard, I'm pretty pleased with the results!

Really nice. I can't stop looking at #5. Great work there! Pretty rough neighborhood! :D

Now that I know the EF-S 18-135 can work so well on the T3, I think I'll use it more for a walk-around camera. The lighter weight is welcomed, as well as the broad range. Heck, I'm gonna use it as a second camera for the next two weekends, which are wedding events!
