"We are Bored and want to go home!!!"
Taken at the family Fathers Day dinner. I did not know where else to post this but I love their expressions, so tipical of teenagers forced to hang out with family.

    Perfect capture! clap.gif
    You seriously nailed it.

Once again I am not looking forward to my kids hitting the teen years rolleyes1.gif.

Out of curiosity I'd like to see it in b&w, but I do think it works in color and maybe a little cropping off the bottom. But even if you didn't touch it further, it's still a great candid capture of a very real moment.

Thanks, this is a crop, I tried taking some off the bottom but then the glasses were cut off a bit too much. The B&W version lost some detail and the effect of the colorfull table setting. Fortunatly, these are the grandkids and I can go home and let their parents deal with them like I did with our kids. wings.gif

Here is a B&W version, which has more impact?

I do so like the B&W better because now it's all about their expressions and my eye doesn't roam around the table as much.

Glad you decided to post it here, I will be coming back to it all day--it just makes me laugh, it's so typical of teenagers.

Definitely the black and white - and I might bump the contrast even more and try to burn in the blown out area somewhat. The expressions and postures are great.mwink.gif

Thanks for the replies and hints. I'll work on the B&W some more too.

After some quick adjustments, is this more better? If anyone wants to try their luck and repost it here, thats fine too. Thanks again.
