Mini Challenge #200 Architecture - Results

Thanks again to the Dgrinners who posted in this Mini... all the images were very enjoyable and, as I had hoped, there were several surprising and unique structures presented.

I apologize for the brevity of my remarks here and in the challenge - My Mom has been in the hospital for 6 weeks and the situation takes all of my time.
So, I'm happy to pick 3 winners here, give HMs to everyone, and pass the torch...
These are my favotites:

Third Place - Kate

Great color and detail - this style architecture is so unique to the Southwest, and is almost required in Santa Fe!


Second Place - Lauren

I think this a great take on the "looking-up" with buildings type image... the flag, sky, halo, and reflection all add interest and make it unique.


First Place - Jo

I just had to laugh when I saw this one! The architecture is subtle of course, but it is an interesting ruin, and the addition of the goats gives the image humor - something I needed at this moment.
Nice catch Jo, and the you've got the ball - Cheers!

    Eric, thanks so much for selecting Adobe Doors for this challenge. There were so many great shots submitted in this fun challenge. Now I have the scary responsibility of coming up with a challenge that meets the high standards of this thread! I will take a day to consider and will post the next challenge tomorrow.

    Thanks for the selection, Eric. Good job on the MC and great choice of 1st place! Hard to pass up an adobe wall with goats in the door--not something you see everyday. Well done, Jo!
