Boxed Set of Cyndi
Well the storm cancelled a couple of shoots on me but, fear not, I always have spares y'all can tear up.

On Grand Bahama, Cyndi and I were walking around a deserted shopping center when I saw the box on the wall. All I told her was "go be caught in the box". She did the rest.

As always, the first mage will take you to her full Bahama shoot with me.

She is a very attractive lady, but the poses in #1 and #2 are not making the best of her. The position of the arms looks very artificial to me. #5 is a very nice shot, but again, that right arm angle looks very odd.

Nice exposures and colours, and very good clarity in the finish.

Thanks macromeister.

It always interests me how people react ( well or not) to a concept. The idea here was for Cyndi to use the box and be caught like a street mime doing the box routine. That necessitated some of the arm positions in the images which are consistent with the concept.

If one has to explain it I guess it didn't work. Sometimes we photographers get too deep into an idea and forget to create a clean, enjoyable image.

Can't argue with the general theory Hack but sometimes the concept is fine and people will react as they will. Explained or not, it works for me and possibly one or two others.

I love almost every note Beethoven composed ( also The Beatles, Jethro Tull and a few others) but there are people who don't react well to his music. Doesn't make it any less clean or enjoyable as an empiric matter. Just some gets it and some doesn't. Nothing wrong with that.

Actually, I take the converse to your postulate. I sometimes think we photographers are so intent on minutia and "rules" that we don't just sit back and enjoy the esthetic value of an image. Not necessarily these or mine, but in general.
