I'm finding difficulty in remembering what photos I have used. I think I've duplicated at least 3. The last two were on the last page, so I changed out those photos for new ones.

grandmaR - I created a gallery for my alphabet photos so every time I post in the thread, I collect the photo & put it in my Alphabet Game gallery & title it so I know what letter I used it for also. I'm on Smugmug & it allows virtual photos so you don't have to upload them twice to add them to a different gallery, not sure if other photo hosting sites have this option. Having this gallery allows me to see which shots I've used without having to go back through the thread. Although I didn't start this at first, so I did have to go back through the thread a time or two to see what all photos I had posted in order to create my Alphabet Game gallery. Now I just add as I go.

    Here's a link to it if you're interested: http://bartlettphotoart.smugmug.com/FamilyFriends/Challenges/Alphabet-Game

I actually did that too, just now, but I downloaded the photos back to my computer and put them in an album there. Not sure I got them all, but I do have most of them.

In the beginning I tried to keep track of the topics everyone was posting, but that soon got out of hand.

Thank-you Joyce - really appreciate the comment!
Because the lighting is full-sun (but low angle), I was
pleasantly surprised how well-preserved the whites/highlights are.

grandmaR, not seeing the image in this. You might need to go into your hosting gallery and change the settings to allow for sharing the content outside of the gallery.

I moved it because when I uploaded it, it didn't go where I could find it. So I deleted it and tried again. But I do see the image - both here and in the alphabet thread. I will re-do it.

Hi, Don, nice shot....how did you keep the walls so straight? I always get a lot of vertical distortion when I shoot architecture...

    Deborah,

I use Lightroom 5.X and it as a Lens Correction feature that is also in ACR with recent Photoshop CS. It allows for such vertical and horizontal correction. Especially for images shot at 17mm or so! :D

    Glad you like the image.

Thank you, Don. It took me a few days to find this thread. I just bought LR 5.x - I will try this.

Thank you Clive! I think that Twillingate was the highlight of my Newfoundland visit with interesting views of (and from) the town as well as pure natural views.

thanks Eric! That was taken at one of the Iditarod's restarts many years ago. This fella was waiting his turn to be taken out of the truck and be hitched up to a sled.

I like this one very much Denise!
The offset composition with the leaf to the right for balance is great.
Color, lighting, bokeh, and texture are all very rich and painterly. thumb.gif

Thanks lens spot. This was taken in my garage/workshop on a very rainy day. Barney was sad I wasn't taking him out for a hike.

    "Broken pictures"
Denise let me know that several of my recent pics on the alphabet thread did not post. Think we have fixed the issue. If future pics don't post please let me know by PM.
    Thanks again Denise!

    Willard3,

This is beautiful! The centered chandelier surrounded by the various magenta colors complimented by the distant faintly green tinted sanctuary are pleasing to the eye.clap.gif

    Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Denise. It was one of those serendipity events I love when I have the camera. We were simply walking down a street and on turning a corner there they were just as you see them in the shot. The one awake seemed to be on "guard duty" for the others. I was later told that stray dogs living on the streets in Athens are a common occurrence.
