labelling/formatting divs
Hi,
I've run into some problems trying to format some pages on our website. The homepage is www.ericandjanaphotography.com. The page I am working on is the bottom left "children and families" click through (http://www.ericandjanaphotography.co...5751195_GNHm39) I am trying to format the images on that page to match the image on the front landing page, just with different info. I have tried a few different things, I have 2 questions

1. When looking at the page with Chrome webdev tool, it doesn't list the div's properly, have I messed up in IDing the div's.

2. How do I style this to get them to align accross the page. I have tried floating the boxes, but have trouble with the large middle box.

thanks for any help.

down to one question
I think I got the html tags id'd properly, but how do I get them aligned? I understand that div's insert a line break before and after. Is there a way to clear those?

getting closer
ok, so i kept looking, and ended up using a table. it looks good except for the border surrounding the cells. How can I lose that, so that the images run together?

I feel like I am talking to myself today. :) but making progress anyways. the only issue I have left is the two small lines between the images on the left and right side of the grid on the table (http://www.ericandjanaphotography.co...5751195_GNHm39). I figured out how to style the table so that there would not be gaps between the cells, but not sure how to point directly to those images.

Are you referring to the red peeking thru?

yes, some of it I expect, but the gap between the images in the left column, and the gap between the images in the right column I would like gone.

there seems to be some default spacing between the two images in the same cell. it looks like the squares on the bottom left, and bottom right need to go up 5 px and the one in the middle should go up 2-3 pixels.
is there a way to do this?
