Super Rags! I do wonder how it would look all b&w! Cheers!

Now that is a lighted path! Love the light! And I'm curious to see the full color version, and a full b/w version as Taz has suggested. Thanks for such a serene photo!! --Carter

Rags, a great scene here! I'm thinking all b&w as well.

    Take care,

    Thanks chaps for the comments

This is going to be a 40X60" piece in a bedroom

I looked at the color version & felt it was too much.

The B&W was good at a small size, but too documentary for a large size

This compromise will be hung in the next few days, so the jury is still out

    Thanks again for the comments

Really great creative concept with the selective color. If you are still experimenting, perhaps add a sepia tone to the whole image so the trees have a bit of a brown tint but the path retains its full color? The difference between the color and monochrome parts will be less stark, but since there is such a large percentage of the image in color that effect could be pleasing. Just my $.02 Nice image as it is.

I meant to comment on this earlier--been busy with other stuff lately. Anyway, I like this one as is. I usually don't care for SC, but this one works for me. It's nice that that at the end of the road, there's a mixture, not a hard boundary. Well done.

This is what it looks like printed & hung...
