Skagit Valley Tulips

Spring has arrived early in the PNW. Took some time off this week to take friends visiting from Montana, up to the Skagit Valley Tulip festival. Weather was spotty, but we managed to dodge the rain.

    Phil, some great shots here. I know you must have really wished for some bright sun. #'s 2,3, and 6 are my favorites. thumb.gif

    Really nice, Phil. I've seen pictures of the Skagit before, but I've never seen pictures of the tulips in their shipping crates. Looks like you had a great sky. Good stuff. thumb.gif

    Thanks guys. We have had a mild winter and the bloom is about 2 weeks early. I was able to get off in the middle of the week, miss the crowds and enjoy some partly sunny weather.

    Love this! #5 is my favorite, with the flowers paradoxically 'locked' in crates.

    Nice. Reminds me of the Flower Fields down here at Carlsbad. I especially like the capture and processing of the last two.
