Sam your b&w processing is always fantastic!
Lots to discover in this pictrure.......non reflective part gets first attention and the dress....then the OLD GOLD sign and on wonders what kind of store this is.....selling gold and dresses???
Then the reflections pop out and you can see the town......doorway is acting as doorway to reflections...which are the town!!
Kind of shot that grows on you!
    Cheers!

What Stumblebum said! Congrats on a unique shot in a town that has been photographed so often.

I lived near Yosemite for over 12 years and passed by Bodie turnoff from 395 a number of times. Kicking myself for not taking the time to drive the 3 miles in and spend some time there.

Very nice. The combination of the street, the facades, the reflections and ghostly interiors gives you lots to explore. An image to savor thumb.gif.

    Thanks everyone!!

stumblebum, Old Gold was a brand of cigarettes, and the store would have been known as a "General Store". The owner would have carried anything he could sell.
