Some recent work for my Image Manipulation class

For my photo manipulation class we had to make up a movie and then create a movie poster for it:

We also had to restore an old photo (this one made the front page of the Flickr Explore page and has brought in over 75,000 views to my page in the last 30 hours)

For our final we have to create full album art (front, back, inside and CD cover) for an existing album. I chose to do Coheed and Cambria's The Afterman: Ascension

I ended up getting a 98 on the project. Not sure what he counted off for but Im sure there are some little things here and there that he could see but I didnt get a response as to what it could be. I also tried to finish the Ziltoid album but just couldnt get the inside right to work cohesively with the outside design so I scrapped it. I did have an ebook author contact me to help him out with his cover. He sent me the design he came up with and asked if I could clean up the edges a bit. There really wasnt a way to because the resolution was so far off so I re-created the main logo, added some depth/texture and found a decent font. He was thrilled with the work and plans to write an additional 2-3 stories so hopefully that will be some continued work/pay. Im hoping he gives me free reign for the next design though
