Newly installed in My kitchen !

Spalted/figured maple boards and ceramic tiles for the top, the ends or "feet" are figured Bubinga.

The table is for sale but I need to store it somewhere :wink

Beautiful table. Really outstanding.....and I'm not a huge fan of that style furniture. Super job on handling the lighting on this series. Well done.

I'm not at all surprised on the table's pricing. I love to get out among some of the true furniture artisans up in the Appalachians. In doing so, I've come to really appreciate the overall skill package it takes to create works of art, such as your table here. And sticker shock, for the really fine stuff out there, disappears rapidly.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Thanks so much Tom !

I'm not really a fan of wane edge either but I couldn't force myself to cut it off...

The wane edge on the Bubinga board was at such an angle, a book match would have looked awkward. So I decided to saw off the edge square to the natural edge of the board.

I believe that nicely complements the wane edge of the top boards...

    Thank you Carter !

    Yes, in my studio mwink.gif

Some of my wood shop tools are on casters and/or mobile bases so I can create a space large enough to shoot items such as tables.

This is an older image with the shop in "making sawdust" mode..

And with some of my tools moved out of the way. This represents the front 26' x 26' of my shop, there is another 10' behind the camera.

At the front I have installed chains from the ceiling to hang a 9' x 36' seamless paper roll.

The lights are roughly positioned to give you an idea and my work bench is in its normal spot, it can be moved back another three feet.
