Where did the long thread on sensor cleaning go? It is probably sitting somewhere self-obvious but I've hunted about and can't see it.

    Not visible.
Are you sure Marlof? - that's where I last saw it, might be a couple of weeks ago. But for my computer, it's not there now. Totally vanished. Thought it must have been moved. Can everyone/anyone else seeit/not see it?

While it may look like self horn tooting, this thread might qualify for hall of fame status:

My plan now is to have discussion from the LAB pop tutorial end up in the DM reading group Ch 1 thread, but discussion about the best way to teach pop, whether via LAB curves or more conventionally be in the Pop: The Next Step thread, which could even be renamed to "Teaching Beginners Pop in LAB?"

Nope. It doesn't belong anywhere else, either. Sorry. Remember - a good thread-jack is great for ratings-boost! Bring's 'em in.

I'm thinking of starting a "Peecees suck post in that thread..." lol3.gif

    Editing a FS/WTB forum post
I posted about needing a kit lens here. I found one and changed (or so I thought) the post to indicate such through the Advanced editing button. However, the post title on the main forum didn't change, only the subject within the specific post. Did I miss something?

When I login in to dgrin, I'm given the "test style" view.

    It's hideous.

How many newbies are driven away in horror, eyeballs burning, before they discover they can change their view?

Perhaps the default view ought to be changed to, ahem, "default"? Or, for the cognescenti, to "white"? naughty.gif

Sorry Waxy - it's been at "default" forever. White? We have a "white" style? Meh.

are you choosing white from the bottom of the page or your control panel? ear.gif I would think if it is from the control panel it might stick even if you logout or use another machine. 1drink.gif

    Landscapes in Nature forum
There have been a lot of landscapes posted in the Nature/Wildlife forum lately, which if I'm correct would better to post in the Field and Street Forum. Not that I mind looking at the lovely shots that are posted, but since the Wildlife forum is the busiest forum some threads disappear to the next page very quickly.

Perhaps if the Field/Street forum name had Landscapes added to it?

    Just a thought.

Andy is formidable, but you're right; he's nothing compared to Lyndon Johnson or Richard Nixon.
