I've worked with the man a long time ago.
He wanted to show off his 50+ lbs loss and grab a few headshots (he's a DJ by night, and pediatric cardiologist by day). the results:

I think it's a good solid set and shows off the three things I think he wanted to convey about himself.

The glass glare in a few of them bug me though.

Really like 2-3 & 9. The rest have too much competition between the bkg and subject for my taste. I feel the subject should always be the main focus. They're not bad just not the style I prefer so take it with a grain of salt.

Thank you Charles. you're right, I should not have been lazy, and pulled my light set up out

With the #7, I was kind of aiming at a bit of a "behind" meaning as the statue in the background is a mother with a child as his full time job has him deal with this a lot (and he is one of the damned good specialists in his field)

I like them. For 5 I would ask him to put the whole hand inside the pocket. I found it better posed that way

Nice set, i think the other comments are pretty close to my feelings on them. I will say that there is no way he is old enough to be a Dr with two specialties like that. I guess I am the one that is too old.
