You wouldn't expect to see dolphins here:

Someone sold these dolphins to a scrap yard.

No you wouldn't. That looks to be at least a $10K bronze statue. I'd love to have it.

    Nice catch!

The scrapyard is in Longwood FL, and American Bronze is in Sanford FL. The two
locations are maybe 10 miles apart. If you look at http://www.americanbronze.com/
you'll see that they do this type of thing.

I suspect that this was a reject from American Bronze as a flawed casting or
something from a building that was sold to someone who wanted a different
theme. It's been there for months, and is visible from a busy street, so it isn't
a stolen and sold piece. If so, it would have been retrieved by now.

I couldn't find anyone at the scrapyard to give me any information.

Darn, wish I was local. I'd show up with a fist full of cash and probably take it away.

You can tell how much I like dolphins. lol3.gif

I would try to clone the steel container out......to make it look like Dolphins are flying through clouds! Love that part!

"Juxtaposition," that's what I say. Great composition with the truck, the pallets, and the soaring dolphins! Great fun! --Carter

Sure...not that difficult, but I did it with a Layer Mask after selecting
some other sky and flipping it horizontally. Then added some column.

Kinda spoils the idea of dolphins where they are not expected, though.

The problem with showing off what I can do in Photoshop is that you
might not believe an out-of-camera photo next time.

Thanks Tony! It is everything I imagined and more! I knew with your skillz that would be nothing!
For me this is the winner.....but I do know the theme was different.....but other shots make that point......this last one is for dreamers!
