Is this a question regarding a SmugMug account?

Please tell as much as you can about where you want to present your video, what format and file type the video is in (including resolution, length, file size (megabytes), desired quality, etc.) and what you have for Internet connection.

I was given a video which was made by a funeral home. It is a memorial video with music which was displayed during my brothers viewing. I insert the disk to my computer and it takes me to the media viewer but for some of my family who were not able to attend the viewing, I'd like to upload it to my smugmug page and provide them with a link for them to watch. I have never uploaded a video before but the disk shows two files. One is called roxioplasma and the other is video_ts. It looks to be 835mb

I moved this to the SmugMug Video Support.

It sounds like this is a standard video DVD disk, with the video files in VOB format. ("roxioplasma" and "Video_TS" should be folders/directories, not files.)

If you open the directory, called "Video_TS", you should find the VOB files, which are the video files in MPEG2 video format.

Unfortunately SmugMug won't understand these files so you'll need to convert them to a format and type that is allowed by SmugMug. Supported formats and types are at:

http://help.smugmug.com/customer/por...mugmug-accept-

If you need a tutorial on converting the files:

If none of this is making any sense, contact a local wedding videographer and they will probably be able to help for a reasonable fee. Be sure to show them all of this information, in order to make the job as easy as possible and to keep your costs as low as possible.

My sympathies regarding the loss of your brother.
