lens choice for ceremony

Hello,
What lens do you all find yourself using most during the ceremony? I have been using 35 mm and enjoy it but I wonder if I'm making life harder than it should be by not using the 24-70 or 70-200
Thought on pros and cons

    70-200 for any larger churches where I am restricted. 24-70 for smaller venues, or double-camera with a 16-35 on one body and an 85 prime on the other. (Especially beautiful shots in super dark, super small venues)

    24 - 105. Depending on the wedding, you often don't have a lot of time to change glass.

    Isn't the 24-105/120 f4 too slow?..
    I've been a third/assistant and I used 24-70 and 70-200 on separate bodies.

    I'd go with the 24~70 as often you need a wide shot if i had to opt for only the one lens & body, it's possible to crop the images but not get any wider with a telephoto zoom.

    I guess it boils down to what type of shot you want

    I shoot most ceremonies with a 135 and a 24. It's just right for me.

    Another thing to consider is that most weddings are photographed by a team of two. Often, that means that one person is relegated to 24-70 duty while the other has 70-200 patrol. Or whatever lenses you need... Usually I shoot as part of a team where one photographer does wides on a 16-35 while the other keeps an eye on the action, but then we both switch to 70-200 or one 24-70 and the other 70-200, for the bulk of the ceremony...

    it would be nice if it were 2.8, but it is what it is. today's cameras do pretty well in high ISO so taht helps. I like close ups so the 24 - 105 work better than the 24 - 70 2.8 for me.
