Overall, very nice...your clients will be happy that they hired you...
Remember, no one may want you to take pictures, but they all want to see them. Educate yourself like you'll live forever and live like you'll die tomorrow.
you captured good energy in your candids but the direct flash is killing them for me (dance shots). your posed work is okay..you have the beginnings of some good ideas but not quite there. For example take #7..made a great find with the door, decent light...but the pose is..about as boring as can be. #5 could have been a cute kissing shot but her shoulders are hunched kinda weird and that is all I can see now. #8 is a nice idea..if they had been looking at each other instead of the camera!
Lastly one of your strong points in your previous work had been your processing imo..in these shots, I don't see it!
Qarik, thank you for taking the time to comment. Unfortuntely, direct+bounced and another backlight was the best option for the room. I see your points on the other ones.
Regarding processing, I tried to keep it very classic. Simple, good colour and simple, contrasty black and white. I didn't want to get the sort of "look" I'm after with my other work. I don't think wedding clients are after it as it may not age so well, if that makes any sense. What do you think about that ? How would you like them processed ?
Classic look is always safe though I don't think it hurts to have a few shots of where you stylize the processing a bit. That said your skin tones seem a bit off (a touch too red imo) and universally I think you are a touch over exposed as well.
