    Sam, first I hope I am not missing a joke........interesting products.:D

    Crispiness and light is sweet! However, I don't know if complete darkness and half-shadow is helping these in eyes of companies that may want their products photographed. I am sure if you search for any of similar (real) products, you may find images that are not as crispy or less pleasant light, but they would have warmth, glow, something to make them appealing to viewer besides just the product, and put them in setting where they would normally be found.

    Hard liquor is good 'dark' product candidate. For other stuff, you need kids in bokeh, kitchen, window light, pretty women etc.
