WOW I am a convert now of Lightroom. I was playing around with adjustment brush (with the quick mask option) and gradients. I keep finding less and less reason to use photoshop. Adobe has done a really good job of creating an inexpensive (relatively speaking) photoediting tool.

I agree..
I hardly ever use photoshop since I got LR..
Unless I really need to do bigger edits, I don't bother with PS.

I'm waiting to upgrade to LR4 until all the bugs are ironed out - LR3.6 is still a great program, so no hardship (especially since I plan to buy CS6, which has the newer raw engine should I want to use it).

And yes, LR is wonderful - I do all of my raw processing and most of my editing in it and love the results!

I updated to 4.2 last night on the laptop and the desktop. I have been running 4.1. I made the upgrad to 4.x to support my D800. LR 4.2 supports tethered capture for the D800/D600 and that is a feature I will be using. It is slower than 3.6 for sure which I still run on some of my other machines.
