An Invitation to Rustaholics

While I enjoy photographing old things, like this old iron fence post,
I don't share the addiction of the Rustaholics here in glorifying rust
in post.

However, I'm inviting anyone here to download this image and do with
it what you will. Glorify the rust with saturation, polarization, or by
whatever means available to you. Change the image by selecting
part, cropping, or maiming...err...manipulating the image any way
you want.

If you want to work with the RAW file, it's here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/033mr9c608sezhd/2014-11-05-51.NEF?dl=0

You have my permission to abduct either file and defile it.

Post your results in this thread.

Darn it. Posted to the wrong forum. This should have been in the
"Other Cool Shots" where the Rustaholics hang out.

Can a Moderator move this? I don't know how.

    Power to the People!
I haven't done rust makeover, but I recently put it on the long list. Thanks so much for the opportunity.

Go figure, I ended cropping it similar to you. I wasn't planning that - believe me. ne_nau.gif

    Oooo! Very nice work Phil!
I like this crop because it includes the full height spiral on the right.

Interesting take, Mr Ricklin. Jump-starting the background with a battery of changes is
    a novel treatment.

Tony, why thank you. I thought the whole point here was a "novelty of changes" and takes on Rust and their environs (as far as I am concerned). thumb.gif:D

Nice, Randy. Overdone, garish, and over-the-top. Just what hooks rustaholics.
