Birds, D Birds, no landscapes, just birds

I tried, even thought I had some really good landscapes. Finally worked them up, and I have birds. Rain tomorrow, and the next day.
Here are birds and maybe a preview of kind of a landscape situation.

The bird above got lunch, and I didn't. He even flew across the creek with the fish in his mouth.

This one here, the one below this writing, it was worked up the same as the others, levels, a bit of saturation, maybe some contrast and USM, nothing else, no special effects...........

I told you I thought I had me a landscape..........it isn't that good, is it. But just to show you the effort, etc. Later the weather was crummy, just steel grey, and it is a long drive to the gardens, etc. So.........

    nice shots . where is this place?

    that is one time i have troubble to compose ... when i want to get the bird flying ... this one is one of the few i filled the frame , just croped the slide mount. (velvia 50 ISO).
