Grey Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis)

The Grey Squirrel was introduced to the UK at the turn of the 19th/20th century. Since then, it has displaced the native Red Squirrel from large parts of England and Wales. They out competed the Reds for food.
Here are a few images of a grey squirrel feeding on the fat balls at the bird table in my garden.

Following the last shot, he jumped down and scampered off having seen me. These squirrels are very agile and move with a flowing motion which is emphasized by their long bushy tail.
