Lightbox cherry leaves

The weather in the UK has been nasty for weeks, so I decided to play with a lightbox and a handful of fallen cherry leaves from the back garden.

I shot this with a Canon 7D mkII and EF 24-105 f/4L at 100mm and f/11. I used a Manfrotto 294A3 tripod with a ball head to shoot vertically downwards. I left the 190XPRO3 at work so didn't have a 90° centre column available. To get round that, put the lightbox in the corner of the kitchen table, so I could position the tripod/camera directly overhead.

I always shoot RAW, so processed it in Lightroom but didn't really do much more than a bit of sharpening and bump up the vibrancy to +20.

Very pleasing image! With the weather we've been having here, that looks warm and inviting.
