To everyone on the forum, wishing you all a joyous and healthy 2016. Also, now is a good time to change your copyright data in your camera over to "2016."

No live fireworks in the area at midnight here, but this very large LED park display did the job nicely a few hours before 2016 began.

    Thank you, all!

    It really was a special treat that I didn't even know about until we passed it while riding the train home at night a few days back. If I shot video, I'd have done something with that because many were animated. There is a better festive LED display every year at the Morton Arboretum that is something like $20/person admission (gulp!). Been to that one too and it is quite spectacular. But due to it being ~17 degrees F, I didn't think I'd last three hours in that kind of cold and this smaller -- only 5 acres -- display was just the ticket.

    The scene is nicely framed by blue above (LEDs) and below (blue hue of the ice -- Brrrr). A great look for the Season! --Carter
