help!! i have added your code to my bottom javascript but nothing changes on my breadcrumbs...i still see my homepage link and not the galleries...what do i need to do? i am dizzy with all this code!!

You missed a couple characters in your copy which causes a script error so the script doesn't run. Add the two missing characters shown in red:

Javascript is a programming language. It requires strict adherence to proper syntax or the entire script aborts. It's not like HTML that often kind-of, sort-of, keeps working even when you mangle the syntax.

This may be a silly question, but when I tried to implement this I ended up with my breadcrumb looking like this:

Top level galleries page = Galleries > Galleries

Choose one of the sub galleries and get: Galleries > Galleries > SubGallery

It seems that first occurance of Galleries is redundant, but I have no idea how to remove it.

You put all your galleries in a category named Galleries. Why did you do that? That will cause "Galleries" to be in every single level of your breadcrumb. I'd suggest that you put your galleries into useful and meaningful category names and then you won't have the extra "Galleries" that you have now.

I just added some of my galleries to communities. I noticed that the top of the breadcrumb is showing the community name instead of my homepage, and thus leading folks away from my site.
What do I need to do to correct this?

You can remove that gallery from the community in gallery settings for that gallery.

So what is the purpose of the communities?

This customization has nothing to do with the slideshow or your homepage changes so you should be able to add it to the bottom javascript.

You have your breadcrumbs hidden for that Horse-Jumping page (with your CSS). If you unhide the breadcrumb, then you will be able to see the category/sub-category hierarchy.

I added this script (as listed by the OP in the top of this thread, and it worked last night when I installed it, but now when I click 'galleries', I'm taken off my 'slideshow' homepage to www.sargentschutt.com/galleries but there are no galleries where they should be listed.

If I go to a specific category (/cars), that displays fine, but the /galleries page is void of any galleries (it should be a listing of all the categories).

I've installed the Fastline fullscreen slideshow per these instructions:

That part works fine.

I've also installed the script to change the text color from green to red (I changed it to 'lightgray' actually).

Any idea why the 'galleries' simply aren't displaying? Again, it worked last night, and is broken today...???

You have turned off your gallery display so it cannot display anywhere. Go to the homepage layout button and re-enable the gallery display.

I'm a newbie so excuse my lack of whatever. I'm been reading the breadcrumb post and wanted to know if I can remove "category" from my breadcrumbs. I only use gallery names and don't break them down by category. Right now every category I have is "OTHER" and therefore don't need to see it on the breadcrumb. Thanks for any help.

I have added this - Top of breadcrumb go to galleries page script to my bottom javascript, but I must something that is keeping it from working. Could you please take a look .
