Thanks, will try this out tonight. I had seen this but was afraid it would interfere with your slideshow customizations!

Thanks for the help! Added the CSS and JS as in the tutorial but finally figured out I also needed to turn 'galleries' back on in the homepage layout.

Pardon the page... we're under construction obviously! :)
There appears to be some sort of infrastructure problem at Smugmug right now with custom size images as they are being served very, very slowly from your site even at smaller sizes. I'll report this to Smugmug and hope they can fix their infrastructure. I don't see anything you've done wrong in your slideshow configuration and some other slideshows are working OK.

I noticed that custom size images do work fine if not drawn off your custom domain. I wonder if there's something wrong with the configuration of your custom domain.

We can help, but we need a link to your site and we need to see the code in place that you're trying to make work so we can see what's wrong.

It's very possible. I have just basically built this by trial and error...more error than anything else. Is that something you could look at?

I don't have access to your custom domain settings. You could email the help desk, reference this thread and tell them you'd like them to see if your custom domain is implemented properly or not.

Thank you, I may still do this, though it seems to be somewhat better now.
At first, I had made copies of all the photos, and put them in an separate gallery to be accessed by the slide show. Now, I've learned that I can just say "Collect Photo" and place a virtual copy in the gallery for the slideshow. This is working much faster now for whatever reason!

I'm trying to use this slideshow in my galleries and I can't seem to get it to work. Does it conflict with FastLine Media's Full-Screen Slideshow. I am using fastline for my homepage.

The two slideshows do not conflict. If you post a link to a page where you are using this slideshow and it's not working, I can take a look at what's wrong.

You should have been getting an error message from the slideshow about improper CSS installation.

Fix this error in your CSS and see if that helps. Add the missing closing brace shown in red to this CSS:

Code:
/* Open Wide! Demo here: http://www.wolfsnap.com */
.galleries #homepage,
#content.userKeywords,
#header_wrapper, #footer_wrapper, #cobrand_footer,
#category, #subcategory, #header,
#smugmug, .smugmug #header, .smugmug #footer {
margin-left: 15px;
margin-right: 15px;
min-width: 755px;
width: auto;
_width: expression(document.documentElement.clientWidth < 790? "760px" : "auto");
}

That worked! Thank you so much.

Hi,

Thanks jfriend for this great coded and all the supporting documentation. I have a question on one of the parameters 'clickType' when I read this:

"clickToGalleryOriginal" specifies that a click will go to the gallery where the original of this image
is located. This is useful if you are using a virtual gallery for the slideshow, but you want clicks on the
slideshow image to show the image in it's original gallery, not in the virtual gallery.

On my site I have a hidden gallery just for the slideshow. Reading "clickToGalleryOriginal" appears that I can have a virtual gallery. How is this created? Any I able to somehow use all photos in my site to feed the slideshow?

thanks.

I'd suggest you read about virtual galleries. There are two types: smart galleries (galleries populated by keyword or some other critieria) and collected galleries (you manually pick which images you want to be "collected" into the virtual gallery. Once you've created a virtual gallery, it has a gallery URL just like any other gallery and you can use that URL with the slideshow.
